Hope - A Special Call to Photographers, FilmMakers and Writers
So, this is a heartfelt personal call out from one photographer and writer to many others. Here’s why.
I have been curating an online exhibition since August, ready to launch in November; this is an exhibition which is open to any artist, practising any art form, from anywhere in the world. I have received hundreds of amazing entries from all around the world, and I have started to curate the exhibition. I have selected 24 beautiful pieces of work from adults, not to mention the amazing selection from children. But, and it’s a BIG BUT for me, among some stunning fine art, I have only ONE photograph and TWO pieces of writing… and I would really like to change this ratio.
Can you help?
If you are a writer or photographer, or perhaps both, then please feel free to submit you work to our upcoming exhibition. It’s free! In all honesty, I have enough art to curate a beautiful exhibition, but as a photographer and writer myself, I really really want to include more photographic work, and more creative writing, and of course, I am still super keen to include animation, film and performance!
As such, I am extending the deadline of exhibition entries, specifically for photographic, film and animation, and creative writing, until the 31st October, and I am sending out a heartfelt plea to photographers, film makers, animators and writers! We want to share your voice, we want to help you get seen, we want to showcase your amazing talent… there are no fees, no catches, this is just a call for your art…
The theme of the exhibition is “Hope” – and you can read all about it, including the submission guidelines, here.
Any questions, drop me an email, or use the contact form. Share with your friends, colleagues, and co-creators, and help me finish off this wonderful exhibition with more diversity and rich art forms. Thank you!
