Fall into Autumn
“Of all the seasons, autumn offers the most to [humans] and requires the least of [them].” – Hal Borland
I am so happy to be back with a new seasonal online offering for you this Autumn.
Fall Into Autumn follows, with grace, in the footsteps of Winter Remedy, Spring Fling and Summer Solstice Slow Down… All my seasonal courses offer you an eclectic and offbeat mix of art, music, poetry, literature, creative prompts, nature connections, recipes, seasonal celebrations, mindfulness ideas, journaling inspiration, well being, gratitude practice, and lots more, and Fall Into Autumn is no different.
This season is full of moments of transition and flux, letting go and quiet realisations; it is a season for harvesting food and thoughts; filling our homes and hearts with warmth and light; it is for gathering, collecting and appreciating abundance…
I would love for you to join me this October where we will allow ourselves to fall deeply and contentedly into Autumn. We will meander through autumnal arts and literature, we will delve into fall-time food and foraging, we will sink happily into some seasonal magic, folklore and music, we will dream abundantly in autumn leaf crowns and find adventures new and old, we will settle in with some mindful hygge and seasonal well being, and we will enjoy new ways to find contentment in every day. We will also have some amazing guest writers joining us with their own unique contributions to Fall Into Autumn.
As well as our simple and artful days, we will also explore the New Moon, National Poetry Day, World Astronomy Day, Chocolate Week, World Post day and Apple Day, the Full Moon on the 20th, and of course we will finish up with Samhain (Halloween) on the 30th/31st. October really is a wonderful month.
“I’m so glad I get to live in a world with Octobers.” – Lucy Maud Montgomery
