Artist Bio:
I graduated in 1992 with a poor fine art degree, and for many years after I created very little artwork. I spent my time engaged in the live music scene as a self-employed working musician. I completed art commissions to earn money when I could but always felt disappointed with my artistic success. I moved to Devon six years ago with my wife and son with the intention of reigniting my desire to produce art. I built a basic studio in my garage and started to produce work again. I naturally lean towards landscape art and this was a good starting point. However, over the years my tendency to create abstract work started to creep into my work. I am now currently working mainly as a contemporary abstract visual artist. This is proving to be personally rewarding for me and my current work concentrates on being the conduit for a personal and emotional response to the world around me.
