Artist Bio:
Reporter visual artist and photographic, Guilherme Bergamini is Brazilian and graduated in Journalism. For more than two decades, he has developed projects with photography and the various narrative possibilities that art offers. The works of the artist dialogue between memory and social political criticism. He believes in photography as the aesthetic potential and transforming agent of society. Awarded in national and international competitions, Guilherme Bergamini participated in collective exhibitions in 31 countries.

‘Reavivar’
In times of social isolation and sudden changes in our routine it is necessary to reinvent ourselves. Each day is a new challenge, with no prospect of short-term changes. In the peculiar moment that Brazil is going through in its political insanity I cannot find an effective way out, I am abstracted.
The closed schools and the pulsating energy of childhood make me dedicate and remember the last four years of living with my daughter.

As if the center of attention was Malu, but it is.
I always have brushes, paints, colored pencils and crayons at her disposal.
A cut of her drawings, from 2 to 4 years old, I formed diptychs of her works, with photographs of trips that we propose to take.
A unique experience of dedication and maturity.
In these good years dedicated to photography, the only person who made me leave the camera for a while was her. Since her 25 days of life I have already taken her to know a little bit of nature. Thereafter, when possible, we took the car and set off on the roads.
Of the waterfalls we went to, there were many, that desire to always be in contact with the water, a love since childhood. Me trying to stimulate her, she stimulating me.
An experience that I cannot display with words, I propose with her drawings and my photographs, telling this story.
