Recycled Science is a hands on, practical, creative and fun session, where children explore engineering and science concepts using recycled materials. Participants are guided by Nick, our STEAM coordinator and qualified engineer.

Like Lego Sense, Recycled Science is rooted in the ethos that young people learn at their own pace – fulled by curiosity, and that curiosity-led learning improves well being, confidence, communication and self esteem, as well as building an organic knowledge that is relevant to them. With this in mind, the classes are focused on helping children learn and develop engineering skills and engage with science and mathematical concepts through practical, experimental, functional and creative activities.

The added bonus of Recycled Science is that it also engages young people with the incredibly important environmental concerns of re-using and recycling!
